Duplicate customer

This may be a stupid question but I’m wondering if my customers’ signin information is exclusive to my merchant account?

So if they register at my store using the same email address as they’ve used at a different store that also happens to use Snipcart, are they allowed to use a different password? Would it even let them register or error saying that email address is already taken?

That’s correct; customer accounts are exclusive to your merchant account. This means a customer could register with the same email on another store that uses Snipcart.
