Force Snipcart Country Autocomplete Typeahead to become just a normal dropdown

Hi everyone, I don’t know how I can describe my situation but I will try my best

So, I am customising the Snipcart Checkout form so that if the selected Country is A then unhide and hide fields.

On smaller devices, it works fine but when it is in full size (Desktop), the snipcart-typeahead becomes an autocomplete function, which makes my script unable to detect any changes to the dropdown value.

So my obvious solution is to force the Snipcart Country Autocomplete Typeahead to become just a normal dropdown like on smaller devices, hence the title.

I hope you guys can help me with this niche situation

We can disable the autocomplete field feature for your account if you wish (displays regular address fields instead). You can send us an email at support@snipcart.com and we can take care of this.
