How can I customise the email template test data to test my changes to the template?

I have added some conditions to an invoice email template.
The data used to to display the preview doesn’t exercise the changes.

I would like to edit the test data - for instance - to change the country in the billingAddress, or add a specific custom field.

I would also like this feature.
The only way I’ve managed to test changes with my own data worked for the invoice template only:

• place an order with my custom fields, metadata, etc.
• make changes to templates
• Open the order screen and select the order with the data I want to test
• click “Download invoice”

That is both cumbersome and limited.
