How snipcart get their cut with custom payment gateways?

Hello, sorry if I’m being silly.

Snipcart has a fee. That is cool. But how this fee is collected when using a custom gateway? I mean, the transaction is dealt outside of snipcart, right? How this works? Or does the billing works differently than what I think (like, pay it every month after use)?

I don’t want get in trouble for not paying the fee or something.

Hi @rafael-lua,

Our way of proceeding is the same regardless of the gateway you’re using; we tally up the transaction cost of all orders that went through your account and issue a charge on the credit card associated with your account at the end of your billing cycle.
