One of my clients realized today that taxes were not being calculated on many orders. When I checked on it, I realized that SnipCart is failing to add taxes when the shipping address is in another state.
I looked in the Dashboard, and I DO NOT have the “Applies on shippings” checked. Not sure why SnipCart would fail to charge taxes when the shipping address is out of state.
Also, this client is a brick-and-mortar store, with online orders and in-store pickup – no shipping. In other words, the “shipping address” is pointless anyway.
Does anyone know how to make SnipCart charge taxes even when the order is out of state?
