Temporary disable Snipcart

Hi everyone

Due to the COVID situation in my country, not even Shippers are allowed to ship. Therefore, not even online shopping is feasible.

Is there any way to temporary disable Snipcart so that Snipcart will not charge my client $10/month?

If I switch to Test Mode, will it achieve the same effect?

Any help is very appreciated

Hi @MorningTide,

The best way to achieve this is by canceling your account. You’ll still have access to the dashboard, the cart in Test mode, and you’ll be able to re-activate your account by re-generating your Live API key.

  • Log in to your merchant dashboard.

  • Make sure you toggle the Live mode at the top of the screen.

  • Click on the small user icon at the top right corner.

  • Under the Account section, click on Profile.

  • Click on the black Cancel my account button.
